Well this is my first post as Captain Fatherly, and my rants, blogs, advice, and experience on the adventure of fatherhood.

For personal beliefs and reasons I will from here on out only refer to myself as Captain Fatherly or other variants of that name (Father, Captain, Capt., CF, etc…).

I would like to also thank you for stopping by and viewing my blog.

As of August 8th. 2009 I found out that I would be the father of my very own legitimate child. I say this because I have had pregnancy scares in the past from some crazy wenches. I have also helped raise children in my past relationships whether that be with an ex-girlfriend or even from lending my helping hand in raising some of my siblings.

There were quite a few things that went through my head when I heard my “room-mate” at the time yelling, screaming, and crying hysterically from the lavatory that she primitively peed on a “test” strip. Immediately after that we went to our closest clinic and yet again she passed another test. Not to mention that it was her and her mother in the room that they were conducting this test, While her sister and I waited very impatiently in the aptly named waiting room.

She came out of that doorway and smiled I was not sure how to take this and found out moments later I was hit with the news that I indeed was going to be a father. At that point in time I immediately broke down into tears and called my father to tell him the news.

Also I was scared, I am a young lad and at that point in time had a really hard time taking care of myself and those living with me. I was also scared of the chance of a mis-carriage (Previous girlfriend had experienced one the child was not mine but that is a tale for another time. She also had tall tale signs of her tragic experience that I now know to watch for.)

As of now me and my “room-mate” are actually a couple and plan on sailing the sea of parenthood together.
